Ardex WPM 265 (Shelter-coat Water Based Primer) is a red pigmented, acrylic primer system which creates a positive bond between the substrate and most water based coatings. Designed principally for internal use, however can also be used for external applications. This non toxic water based acrylic primer is designed to seal porous substrates and enhance adhesion making it suitable for use on new and old concrete, timber and compressed fibre board substrates.

• Creates a positive bond between the substrate and most water based coatings.
• Can be used on substrates like new and old concrete, timber and compressed fibre boards.

Limitations

• Do not apply if the temperature is below 10°C or above 35°C.
• Primed surfaces should preferably be overcoated within the same day of application to avoid intercoat contamination.
